This photo wasn't really planned. It all fell together one step at a time.
It started with seeing a nice light pattern on the wall. So I decided to use that as a background. Then I added a statue of a cat in front of it. Then during the shoot, I was going to use a lighter to add more (maybe interesting) light onto the statue. I accidentally got the lighter in the frame when shooting, and liked the result! So I threw it behind the cat to make it look as if it was on fire.
No editing was done to this image at all, besides adding my border/signature. How it looks is how I shot it.

I love the shadow-play...I didn't even notice the fire until reading. Neat image though
